Several local groups are now on the convent campus. They are Ballina Men’s Shed, Ballina Involve CLG and the Ballina First Responders. Other groups use the convent on an infrequent basis and these include the Riverside Theatre Group and the Belleek Woods Enhancement Committee. We have plans to welcome more groups onto the campus and into the convent in 2026. It is lovely to see the convent building back in use and lit up with activity and light in the autumn evenings of 2025. We had the pleasure of hosting the inaugural Ballina Pumpkin Patch 2025 in October, organized by the Ballina Lights Committee and we hope that the convent grounds will be a home for the Ballina Pumpkin Patch for many years to come.
